white tea leaves
I have a White Tea rose bush?

at least I think they are called tea roses. Problem is as soon as a rose blooms it turns brown and dies almost instantly. The leaves seem alright, I don’t see bugs crawling on them, but the flowers keep dying, what could cause this? Suggestions??

You may have petal blight. It’s caused by a fungus and is a problem in the south from April thru August. Try any good quality spray fungicide you can buy for a garden store and apply it according to the label directions. Typically you’ll need to reapply it every 7 to 14 days.

To prefent fungus generally, try not to water the petals or the leaves – water just the bottom soil area of the plant.
