White Tea Antioxidant

Do you think this tea has health benefits?
Normally I take the freshly brewed tea. But I found some Organic Tea black without sugar and 3 grams per serving caffine. I really like and made me feel good. However, since its been on the shelf idk how long do you think of all matches are antioxidants? This has not yet expired
The taste is a good indicator of freshness. The antioxidants in tea typically takes much longer when The Tea properly stored, and only begin to decompose rapidly after tea prepared (so the bottled tea is not very healthy). However, Tea White is not healthy as any black or Green Tea (see http://ratetea.net/topic/health-benefits-of-tea/8/). Loose Leaf Tea is probably better than the bags Of Tea. However, this tea is certainly not bad for you. I mean, if it tastes good, drink it.

Benifits Of Green Tea

What are the benefits of Drinking Green Tea?
Today, scientific research in Asia and the West provides hard evidence for the health benefits long associated with drinking green tea. For example, in 1994, the Journal of the National Cancer Institute published an epidemiological study results indicating that drinking green tea reduces the risk of esophageal cancer in Chinese men and women by nearly sixty percent. Purdue University researchers recently concluded that a compound in green tea inhibits the growth of cancer cells. There is also research indicating that drinking green tea lowers total cholesterol and the improving the ratio of good cholesterol (HDL) cholesterol (LDL). In short, these are some medical conditions which is known to drink green tea to be helpful: cancer rheumatoid arthritis high cholesterol levels cariovascular disease infection impaired immune function What makes green tea so special? The secret of green tea lies in the fact that it is rich in polyphenols, especially epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). EGCG is a powerful antioxidant: Also inhibiting the growth of cancer cells, which kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue. Was also effective in reducing LDL cholesterol, and inhibit the abnormal formation of blood clots. The latter has a greater significance when you consider that thrombosis (blood clots, abnormal blood) is leading cause of heart attacks and strokes. Links are made between the effects of green tea consumption and the "French paradox." During years, researchers have been intrigued by the fact that despite a diet high in fat, the French have a lower incidence of heart disease than Americans. The answer was found found in red wine which contains resveratrol, a polyphenol that limits the negative effects of smoking and a diet high in fat. In a study in 1997, researchers at the University of Kansas determined that EGCG is twice as powerful as resveratrol, which may explain why the rate of disease heart among Japanese men is quite low, even though approximately seventy-five percent are smokers. Why do not other Chinese Teas have similar beneficial properties? Green, Oolong and Black Tea come from all leaves of the plant Camellia sinensis. What sets green tea is also how it is processed. leaves Green tea is steamed, which prevents the EGCG compound from oxidation. In contrast, the leaves of black tea and oolong are made from fermented leaves, which results EGCG into other compounds that are not as effective in preventing and fighting various diseases. Other Benefits New evidence is emerging that green tea can even help dieters. In November 1999, the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition published the results of a University of Geneva in Switzerland. Researchers found that men who received a combination of Caffeine and green Tea Extract burned more calories than those given only caffeine or a placebo. Green tea can even help prevent tooth decay! Just as its bacteria-destroying abilities can help prevent food poisoning can kill bacteria that cause dental plaque. Meanwhile, for the skin containing green tea – from deodorants to creams – are starting to appear on the market. Side effects? To date, the only negative side effect reported from drinking green tea is insomnia due to the fact that it contains caffeine. However, green tea contains less caffeine than coffee: there are about thirty to sixty mg. of caffeine in six to eight ounces Of Tea, compared with more than one to one hundred mg. in eight ounces of coffee.
