Headache from Essential Oils?

100% Pure Essential Oils. No dirty oils. Why do I get headaches if I use these undiluted? From Frankincense I get the worst Migraine for about 2-3 days when I put one tiny drop on a wound in my nose…

Lemongrass, just one little drop on my armpit gave me that huge headache.

My Aromatherapy teacher said , that it must not be an allergic reaction. It can be that my body is in need of this oil so badly that it starts the detoxing process right away. So it is a good migraine/ headache? I did not know something like that exists :) specially when you can not hold open your eyes for pain anymore…

Am excited for your feedback!

Many things that are made today are from un-natural sources or contain chemicals that have been added for one reason or another. It is very difficult to find pure oils because they are extremely expensive if made properly.

I suggest you use the coca’s pulse test to determine if you are allergic or have a sensitivity to what you are taking. Simply sit in a chair for a few minutes and let your body come to rest. Take your pulse for a full 60 seconds, not the 15 sec and multiply by 4 thing. Then put a drop of the substance on you tongue and swish it around for 30 seconds. Now, take your pulse again and see how it compares to the first time. If it increases more than 6 pulse beats, you are allergic or sensitive to it. The only way you can be allergic to it is if it contains a protein.

good luck to you
