quality green tea
What is the different between chinese and japanese Green Tea? :) ?

Is the health benefit of good quality green tea same with low quality green tea? IS there any different between good and low quality green tea?

Japanese Green Tea has its roots in China as their harvesting and production techniques came from China nearly 500 years ago. As time went on, the farmers in Japan would refine their processing methods, improving the quality of The Tea with each generation that passed. Although it began with China, Japan has now become known as a maker of high quality green teas. Japanese green tea and Chinese Green Tea both have many health benefits.
In order to stop oxidization Japanese green teas are steamed, Chinese Green Teas are pan fried. They are not really that similar. They are quite different.
Both methods are just a way to stop oxidization. The two types of green teas taste quite different. There are high quality Chinese green teas, but it seems you have to really go out of your way to find them. It definitely doesn’t apply to the typical Chinese green tea you see at the grocery store.
China also has some steamed tea,but these tea’s flavor don’t have the pan fried tea’s strong, its aroma offen hasn’t the chestnuts smell. In China people like the green tea that have a chestnuts aroma.
If someone adds things to green tea that usually means it’s low quality.
One reason why Chinese Tea sometimes has added aroma is because the fermentation process doesn’t smell that good, so they cover up the bad smell with things like jasmine.
Good quality (or Classic) teas aren’t necessarily stronger than some with added scent. The added scent/flavour is to try and enhance the flavour of the tea. But as most who’ve tried good quality tea would say, it’s impossible to make a good tea better.
To sum it all up, if a tea has an added flavour or scent, its probably there to cover something up (like a bad tasting tea).
