Moving out?
I am really looking forward to moving out of the nest. i have started making a list of stuff i need to buy……
my question is what all do i need? please help with a list.
this is what i have gotten so far.
Apartment- lol
money- lol
couch
bed
tv
unit(entertainment center)
dresser
dining table set
dishes
cutlery
cooking utensils
glasses
dishcloths
tea towels
cleaning supplies
microwave
toaster
coffee maker
blender
pots
oven mitts
dvd player-optional
lamps- depends on lighting
a/c or fan- not necassarily till warmer months
towels
washcloths
toiletries
bathmat
rubber mat
hangers
i have a feeling i am forgetting something but just cant think of what. and so far i have figured out that everything could cost up to 3g’s any money saving tips?
For furniture & things, don’t forget to check out www.craigslist.com. Of course, you only want to check in your local area. (I have a niece that lives on the opposite coast from our entire family, she is just getting her own place & has gotten some really good, quality furniture off craig’s list in her neighborhood).
Shower curtain
Baking Soda (so if you are cooking with grease & a fire starts you can put it out with this)
Plastic containers (for leftovers, for storage of sugar, etc.)
a clock & an alarm clock
It is always nice to have some insecticide handy
Vacuum cleaner (if carpeted)
Broom & dust pan (for uncarpeted areas)
Coffee table
End tables (for your lamps)
Night table (for lamp and alarm clock)
