Does tea/flavored water give you the same health benefits as plain water?
I’ve heard that flavored water or tea is just not as good for you as plain water. I’d like to know if it’s true.
No it is not true. Water hydrates you no matter the source but adding flavours like tea also add chemicals that are useful to your health. Coffee being a diuretic can make you lose water. The water in jello is just as good as drinking water with the added benefit of providing sustenance. Fruit contains large quantities of water but also provides vitamins and minerals. You can live on these sources without drinking “water”.
