calendula oil
these are the indgredients i found in my shampoo…is it safe?

Water (Aqua), Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamide DEA, Glycol Stearate, Polyquaternium-10, Diazolidinyl Urea and Methylparaben and Propylparaben, Pure Herb Complex (Chamomile, Neutral Henna, Goldenseal, Calendula, Hops, Horsetail, Cherry Bark), Retinol (Vitamin A), Ergocaliferol (Vitamin E), PEG-75 Lanolin, Propylene Glycol, Corn Oil, Tetrasodium EDTA, Fragrance (Parfum), Citric Acid

It passes industry standards, I’m sure…but those industry standards don’t tell you that these chemicals are bad for you. I recently heard about “no-poo”, I’ve started using it myself, and I am incredibly impressed. (You take a couple tablespoons of baking soda, mix it with about a cup of water, pour on your hair, work it in, and rinse…then you do the same thing with apple cider vinegar…great for your hair, great for the environment, helps to clean your drains…nothing better.) However, you could also go to a natural store and buy some organic shampoo. That would work, too.
